Membership Classes

 

Full Golf Membership

Full Golf members must be at least 21 years of age. Full Golf Members may enjoy all Club privileges. These members vote on the elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and terminate upon death.

 

Single Golf Membership

This is a Full Golf membership for those at least 21 years of age who are unmarried and without children. These members also enjoy all the privileges of a Full Golf member as stated above. Single members shall vote on elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and will terminate upon death.

 

Junior Golf Membership

This is a Full Golf membership for those at least twenty- one (21) years of age and under the age of thirty (30). You will enjoy all the privileges of a Full Golf member as stated above. This member shall vote on elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and will terminate upon death. The member is responsible for payment of the initiation fee difference at the age appropriate level.

 

Junior Intermidiate Golf Membership

This is a Full Golf membership for those between thirty (30) years of age and the age of thirty-five (35).  You will enjoy all the privileges of a Full Golf member as stated above.  This member shall vote on elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and will terminate upon death.

 

Senior Golf Membership

This level of membership is for those at least 70 years of age. These members will enjoy access to the golf course, pool, tennis courts and dining facilities.  These members vote on the elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and will terminate upon death.

 

Snowbird Membership

Snowbird members enjoy Full-Golf membership privileges. This category of membership is available to those who reside in a state other than Indiana as their primary residence. To qualify for Snowbird membership, an applicant must be a legal resident of another state. This membership allows use of all club facilities from May 1 through September 30. Golf course play during other months is allowed; however, Snowbird members will be charged guest green fees during those months. Snowbird members vote on the elected positions at the Club and the membership is proprietary, assessable and will terminate upon death.

 

Non-Resident Golf Membership

This membership is for individuals who do not reside or own residential property in Monroe County or any of the surrounding contiguous counties (Morgan, Owen, Greene, Lawrence and Brown) for the term of their membership. These members enjoy all the privileges of a Full Golf membership. Membership is non-proprietary, non-voting, non-assessable and shall terminate upon death. Upon establishing legal residence in the above listed counties or upon purchasing or occupying real property in any of those counties, a Non-Resident shall, within 90 days, make application to the Club for the appropriate membership class. Membership shall be terminated after 90 days if no application is received.

 

Social Membership

Only persons at least 21 years of age shall be eligible for Social membership. The Social Membership is perfect for active families or individuals who are not interested in playing golf. These members may use all of the many amenities of the Club including our Olympic size pool, tennis courts and dining facilities. The Social member may play golf up to three times a year paying the currently established greens fee. Social memberships are non-proprietary, non-voting, assessable and terminate upon death.

 

Notes

1. Members of any membership category except Junior Golf members may upgrade their membership to any other higher category by application. Upon approval of membership in the higher category, members will be billed the difference between all initiation fees paid previously and the current initiation fee in effect at the time of application.

2. Junior Golf members are automatically upgraded to the next membership level at the appropriate age. Billing of the initiation fee of the higher aged membership is automatic and will be added to statements the first month following the member’s birthday.

3. Family Privileges—Each spouse in a member household is entitled to the full privileges for which the membership level is entitled, provided that each spouse shall sign an agreement acknowledging joint and several liability for all dues and indebtedness due the Club by the member household. If the member is unmarried, one adult over the age of 21 who resides with the member and is designated in writing by the member shall have the same privileges as the named member, provided that the designated adult shall sign an agreement acknowledging joint and several liability for all dues and indebtedness due the Club by the member. Members’ unmarried children to the age of 25 years who are living in the family home or at or about a college campus during the college term are entitled to the same privileges as the member parent. Where a member has living with him/her, and dependent upon him/her for financial support, an immediate member of his/her family other than his/her spouse or children, the Board of Governors may grant such person privileges of the Club.
